Had an awesome time picnic and chilling at Sentosa with this bunch.

This is one of the rare occasions that we went on a double date. Bila nak triple, fourple dates. You know who you are girls. Teeheee

Anyway we bought too much snacks plus MCD. Constantly snacking didn't help either. I realize I'm not much of a snacker.

The weather was good on Saturday bright but not too sunny. Else we will all be tanned! And tanning wasn't part of the plan! We are toasted enough. I think?

Missing item of the day would be a ball. Could have played a couple of games with that. Shall keep in mind the next time we head there.

Epic moment, A carried me and campak me in the water! The next time I better watch out for all this tricks. Need to come up with some defense tactics and save myself. Hmm

Invasion of the FTs

Happy days in Europe. I want those happy days back please. All I do is wake up the next morning thinking where to go next. Now I wake up the next morning thinking what to do next. Where do I go from here. What's the next step. I feel bless to work in this company and I like the challenges given. I shall flatter myself abit in the next few sentences. But I do surprise myself over and over again with what I am capable of doing.

Probably because I underestimates myself. Always thinking I'm not that good, not that smart, not taking the initiative. Always fearing failure. But I guess it's the fear that made me strive harder. To always see the positive in things and work harder. For me and my mum.

The standard of living here is too much. We being the 6th most expensive place to live in Asia or was it SEA? Whatever it is, it's not something to be proud of. Maybe the government is. It sounds good. But how about the people? Are we just making it? Just earning enough? With all the FTs here, who are competing with us in terms of work, housing etc. The FTs come here, living a better life then us. What does that mean? Maybe we should look elsewhere to settle down. Been thinking about that alot. Oh well, let see where my two feet will take me.

When you start working you realize how precious your weekends are. Seriously the weekends just fly by. So to make it feel longer you have to spend it wisely. Or maybe just wish that time pass slower?

Then again when you're always out the money in your purse might deplete faster then you could think. sigh. I guess it's a win-lose situation. Whatever lah. I wanna go out. I don't wanna go home can?

Tuition. Dinner date. Lunch date. Simpang Bedok. Seoul Garden. Shopping. CNY lunch. Kinect. Pizza.

That pretty much sums up my weekend. Life's good.

A really good book. Worth the read.
Well I actually watch the movie first before reading it. Curiosity kills the cat so I bought the book.

The thrill and mystery behind every case was rather alarming I would say. The details of gruesome murder made me emo after I read it.

On the other hand in some weird twisted figment of my imagination I wish I was like the eccentric yet genius Lisbeth Salander. But I don't have such courage and it's just a fictional character. Oh well.

I think I wanna watch the Swedish version of the movie.

Hi I haven't been here in awhile. I have so much to ramble and let out I think I've been doing alot of that in my head. I realise I've been going out alot and the money in my purse are turning to receipts faster then I could handle. This is not a good sign.

Anyway I've sign up for gym at SIA Sports Club, let's hope that will keep me fit and lean and be a mean machine like Megan Fox. teehee
The weather has been scorching hot, then the next thing you know, its heavy showers. 360 degrees change in weather is not working out for a number of people and that includes me. Yes, I'm not crazy I'm just a little unwell.

Every year has been a learning journey for me. A roller coaster ride full of surprises, memorable moments, emotional breakdowns but the most interesting part getting to know more people.
It really opens up your world and get in touch with new oppurtunities.

2011 was a pretty important year I would say. The stage of your life you transcend from school to work/uni/married/kids? HAHA I dunno. For me it was time to get a JOB.
*Jaw DROPS* After schooling all this years being spoon fed with knowledge and suddenly you are push out to the real world armed with the education you had to make something out of your life. Yeap, it sounds scary to me. Seriously, years ago I can't foresee whats gonna happen to me. What will I do, where will I go. But I guess everyone goes through the same phase once and it makes it less scary. Alhamdulilah, I got a job which I actually love probably because of the people I'm surrounded with. Let's hope it will still continue to be a interesting journey, insyallah. What will I do next, hmm I'm still thinking. Put that aside.

I've really enjoyed the time I had with my friends and bf in 2011. We had a surprise 20th birthday for dearest Zimah. We've been closer then never before eversince the existence of whats app and my gfs owning Iphones. Thank you Steve Jobs. RIP and whoever invented whatsapp.

I spend New Year Eve with my bf for the first time. Can't believe we've been this long together. Really. I didn't know what I was getting into when I said yes to be your gf 5 years ago. But I guess life always has its ways. Sometimes what you least expected turn out to be something great and what you expected most turn out to be a big disappointment. I fell in love with a boy and I'm never the same since.

How can I forget my trip to Dubai and Europe this year. What an impact it was. I think its calling out to me again. I have this urge to just purchase tickets to Rome or something. Probably not a long trip due to work. But DAMN, we are missing so much here. We need to travel moreeeeee. Travel buddies lets gear up yaw. Oh talking about travel I know Iqah will do alot of that soon. I'm proud of you. Gonna wait for that treat. HAHA.

Let me bore you with this. Some really really good make up foundations. I don't have all the products FYI.

Chanel Mat Lumiere is a medium coverage while Pro Lumiere is a full coverage foundation.

Its the choice for many make up artist, because of its quality, coverage and flawless finish.

I have to say the product itself looks good.

Illamasqua can be found online. It has a wide range of shades which you should check it out. Really really wide range of shades, you will be spoilt for choice. Its full coverage make up foundation giving you a flawless finish. Note, its quite costly though but worth your money.

Currently using Manhattan Matte foundation. It has medium coverage and doesnt dry the skin too much.

It gives the skin a nice natural glow and slight shin.

This might be the cheapest one here. I'm not sure how would you find this product probably online?

SG should bring in more brands here. Seriously.

Have you ever felt so angry you wanna smash glasses, punch someone,clench your fist but all you could do is suppress all those feelings. Because expressing it will ruin everything that you ever needed. In the end, you lose your grip and punch the pillows instead. Sobbering alone, thinking why do people always think they are right. I learnt wisdom doesn't come with age, apparently a minority few get dumber with age. They turn arrogant and feel like they got nothing else to lose. That they have power over everything. And if you deny their demands they might just snatch away the most precious things of yours. And all you could do is oblige.
Some days you think that such people might change with a miracle. But then you thought about it and realise how stupid of you to imagine of a miracle. When did people ever experience a miracle?

You realise this might be a lesson a test given by God. You try to be patient but you can't deny you lose it sometimes. Instead of bringing you down and leading you astray, you realise you wanna be better then this. Better then those 'dumb people' because then might they realise you are worth something. It's a 'human' reaction, when you are somebody everyone comes running to you claiming to know you or even say they are related to you. Whatver their dumb shit I could care. I wanna get away from this cave where life is dark and gloomy and people are angsty, nasty and have no sense of sincereity. I wanna create a home for myself, a place where you should feel safe, secure and not live in fear. But I do have one fear, fear of broken relationships, fear of a broken home all over again. Fear of going through it again. Something that I have no control of but I believe God is Great and He won't let anyone feel misery that they couldn't handle.

Each day I pray for a better tomorrow. ~~And sometimes a miracle for the 'dumb people'~~

Whatever dumb fuck shit I've been through, I realise I've put a barrier against myself. and the world. I guess everyone's the same. You build a wall against yourself and the world. Because you don't wanna hurt again. Because you don't wanna feel the pain again. Simply because, you make sure you don't experience the same shit again. There's probably only two people that knows the real me. The people that I can be transparent with. And I feel thoroughly bless with that.

It gives you a sense of oneness when you see everyone heading for the same direction to complete one of the 5 pillars of Islam.

For me I just believe its a sign. Like fate doing its part. If its not for you now, it might be for you later at a different time or a better time or maybe it's just not for you. But something else is and suddenly you discover something you never thought you might do or even like is place right in front of you. Then you're at the crossroad to decide whether you should do it or not. Oppurtunities come and go. When it opens to you, you either grab it or leave.

Looking at my life now, I probably won't know why certain oppurtunities open to me, but looking back in the future, I probably know how to join the dots then and realise why it all happened.

2) Your CV/Resume

know what you have wrote throughly
know it inside out so as to able to answer employers qs.
be prepared for any questions
personalised you resume according to the job.
resume shouldn't be more then 2 pages long, list the important things only.
don't exaggerate, don't forget to proofread your resume and cover letter, any spelling mistakes would dismiss your chance for an interview.

3) First Impression Counts

Tampines BHG had a shopping madness. When you put too many crazy customers
in one place they are bound to get mad running around, pushing and shoving you like that's the
last item on the shelf and you got to have it. The queue to the cashier is like
playing snake and ladder. You look at the cashier and start thinking where does this queue end.

Red-checkered shirt haven't met purple-green jumpsuit for more then 30 days.
Those 30 days include purple-green jumpsuit special day, it's birthday. So in order to make up for it red-checkered shirt, planned a mini-birthday surprise for purple-green jumpsuit.

Purple-green jumpsuit didn't expect this at all. Red-checkred shirt had put on so much effort on making the day special, and everything went smoothly. There was no such thing as perfect, but purple-green jumpsuit believe there might just be a perfect day in everyone's life and that perfect day for purple-green jumpsuit was 21st July.

It was a rather warm, scorching, sticky Thursday. But early in the morning red-checkered shirt was waiting by the door of purple-green jumpsuit. The day, was filled with shopping, food, birthday cake, surprise card, rocking awesome time and more food. Purple-green jumpsuit was filled with tears of joy at the end of the day and red-checkered shirt gave a warm comforting hug.

Hand in hand red-checkerd shirt and purple-green jumpsuit walk towards the long pathway of a better tomorrow.

Too many thoughts to decipher. Too many things to think about.

Eiffel Tour. I remember just soaking in the moment and wanted to stay in it forever.
Then I started thinking what to do when I get back home. I need to kick start my career.
Take photography and make up more seriously if I ever want to start this business in the future.
Insyallah.

I can't be lost at this time. I need to set my priorities right know what I want and strive for it.
Nobody is going to give me a map and tell me where to go or where to stop.
I guess you need to know how to get there on your own. Bitter but true.

La Tour Eiffel

It was pretty unbelievable.
Alighted at the Metro Station Champ De Mars.
I couldn't contain my excitement as I walk further along the streets
to catch a glimpse of the Eiffel.
Then taaadaaaa~ I look at that bronze lattice Iron structure Mr Eiffel
built almost two centuries ago in amazement.
The Eiffel Tour definitely look better upclose. So much effort and a
darn brilliant idea made the Eiffel one of the most visited area ever.
I mean common on, show a 8 year the Eiffel Tour and they know its Paris.

Spontaneous Trip to KL

It couldn't be more random. Trip to KL from 20-25April.
20th depart to KL, but we only decide to go there on the 19th.
None the less, it was good. The usual makan fiesta.

This was at Nandos.
Angry Mango Sandwich.
On the contray I was really happy after that angry sandwich.
I was waiting to fume or something but nope.

After a few days had Chili's and midnight movie with dD.

Usually, there is jam on the roads and express way but we were stuck in the carpark.
Guess everyone wanted to go home at the same time after movie or smthg.
We were stuck in the freaking carpark for 20minutes. haha.

Supper. Spicy and sinful.

I don't remember which day but I had lunch with mum at Breeks.

So this is what I found at my Aunt's garden. A nest with 3 eggs.
I got so excited. I am now totally convince that birds are one of the best nature engineers and architects. A bunch of leaves, straws or twigs some other stuffs and they can make a home for themselves. Safe and comfy. Most important part its kinda secure.

oh well, there's so much more about the trip but i only update the makan parts cause that's the most exciting. haha

13th April Day Trip to Batam with the Girls.
7am harbour front centre.
Prata and teh tarik to fuel us early in the morn.
The most awesome part was we feel productive.
For example, dhabby baby wakes up at 1pm everyday.
And at 1pm, we ready had breakfast at harbour front. Took a ferry to Batam.
Drove around 3 places. Shop for a souvenier. Play monopoly.

The perks of waking up early in the morning.
You get to do so much more and not get half a day wasted.
WE FELT SO PRODUCTIVE.

It was a good deal tour and
OF COURSE SEAFOOD LUNCH WAS THE HIGHLIGHT
of the day. If that day was a movie, seafood lunch was the climax.
Somehow everyone was so hungry.
When we finally ate it was followed by silence as everyone was enjoying
their meal.

We don't say cheese. We say KENYANG !
BURP. alhamdulilah. Do you feel the love y'all?

It's time to race. We were all virgins at go kart racing.
Even though the sun was really hot.
And the engine were smoking and stalling for some we had to go to pitstop.

I have been busy and I like it.
I rather be busy doing something productive and fun rather
then have boring rotting days at home.
Last min to JB with Qibby on the 12th April, a day before Batam trip with the girls !

I like it when my passport has lots of chops from different countries.
I need to fill t with chops from all over the world. Insyallah.
I'm gonna travel around the world. How can someone not have the desire to travel and see
what other 19 year olds on the other side are up to. How do children in 3rd world countries still smile. Try the cultural cuisine.Experience the different climate. AND
of course meet new people, possibly made a couple
of penpal along the way. I'm a very curious person. But they say curiousity
kills the cat. Somehow I don't really get this phrase. Any kind souls wanna explain to me?

Milk and cookies anyone?

My planless Saturday turn out well, wait no it was awe-mazing !
'A' had a day trip to Malacca and the oh-so confident Hajjar twitted that
it shall be a stay home Saturday.
At last it was just a random text to hang out at her house.
Best part was Zims and Mai was able to come over too.

So while waiting for the princesses we decided to go WS buy sugar, spice and
everything nice for our powerpuff cookies.
Not forgetting we got the sushi.

then it was

snapsnap.baking.mixing.chocolate rush.sushi rush.salmon rush.
sugar rush.

HAJJAR stole the cookies from the cookie JAR.

Then it was makeover time.
And it didn't turn out too bad.

But it doesn't end there.

Me and Jar chill at Mccafe with Arief and Mega from 9 to midnight !
Mega is BOTAK. Had our endless game of monopoly deal and indian poker.
And what else if not teasing Abdul Mega. No one
meets him and not kacau him please.

Then I decided to sleepover Jar's place for the night since it was late.
We ended up gossiping and slept at 3am.

Wake up the next morning and Hajjar had sudden cravings for prata.
So much for jogging !

Chop chop at 10:50am we were at Saffron Tamp waiting for the boys.
Anwar from work, Mega join us before gym and Arief had a hard time waking up.
But apparently everyone make it for prata telur prata kosong teh satu.

Weather too hot, so the very manja us went to MCD for the aircon to chill.
The boys then headed for gym while we girls headed home.

It doesn't end there.

We plan to meet later and swim.
The advantages of waking up early and feel there's a long day ahead of you just feels awe-mazing.

So much of swimming, I ended up going to Hajjar's house with all my gears pack and
this girl siap macam nak carik jodoh. I made french toast while waiting for her.
And by the time it was raining heavily.

We swam in the rain instead. Grab the hoodies and walk in the rain. We were so smart that we
didn't bring our umbrellas. Walk halfway, and we couldn't decide for the moment
whether to go back and take MONOPOLY DEAL.

Met ain, zims and momo at BK catching up with them.
Then we head to PR INT to send MEGA off to be a MAN.
This is the first time any of us ever send someone to book in.

I feel all grown up looking back at this pic. Been friends for 7years and counting.
Sending your friend to NS just shows how much we've grow and how time flies.

environment. And how being 13 was 7 years ago.
Let's put that 7 years forward and we'll be 27.
Some of us would be engaged, married, pregnant, living the life, single, divorced
*hopefully not dead(itu di tangan tuhan)*.

Life happens when you got everything figured out, and something unexpected is thrown to you.
And suddenly your directions change.
The imperfections of life is what makes it perfect.

Then we girls had a really good talk at the pond before parting ways.
Which marks the end to my weekend.

A treat me to lunch because of my good results !
There's no other way to make me happy then through the tummy.
I'm glad we manage to use the voucher Iqah gave, at least it wasn't wasted.
After lunch got home and meet Farhanah and Iqah.
At the Esplanade for the THIRD time.

Somehow I like the blurry effects of lights. I should make a heart cut out,
so that the lights will take the shape of numerous hearts.

on 19th March would be the 2nd time I headed to esplanade
for the Mosaic Festival with Farhanah and her mum
after sending my mum off at the airport.

I already miss her. 15 days away. She's gonna be back by 2nd April.
I'm glad my mum thought me to independent and discipline.
I feel good being able to do almost everything on my own.
Gives me a sense of achievement that I don't need to rely on mum too much.
But A have been taking care of me and I love him for that.

I would have to say that the last performance of the mosaic festival that day
was effing epic. Really good. Their 40CDs on sale sold like hot cakes.

As I was spring cleaning my room I found my Starbucks guide book which is thicker then my poly module books. Serious shit. So I thioooong that away into the bin. And I saw this other files and ethics book which looks tooo nice to throw. But I did throw it anyway. So snap snap a few pictures.

Then here is all the letters I receive from Secondary school. After reading it we seriously sound like 13, 14 year old girls in need of some direction. Still immature, raw and just plain funny. HAHAHA But this is what sums up the good ol'years in Secondary School. I wanna go back in time and be Secondary 2 again. Can I? DREAM ON.

I haven't met her for ages. Far too long. It's just plain weird.
We use to talk about everything together. Seat in class next to each other. Get scolded together cause we talk too much and we drag other people to our endless convesations.
Coincidence moments. Rap to eminem music. Make our crappy jokes with Zims. Have recess together though we were in different class. Go home together. Chase the bus. Stay in school for CCA. Go through competitions and camps. Went to Batam together.
Even our mothers have the same name !
Then we were too busy with commitments and couldn't find the time. That was plain sad please. Can you imagine the catching up session.

The awesome journey I had together with them.
The nerve-breaking moments.

Stress frustrated moments.
Embarassing moments.
The conflicts, the project free-loaders, skipping lectures, lunchbreak escapade,
mugging eat, breathe shit notes and books.

I know one day I will miss this.
